The Sarkis and Siran Women’s and Children’s Pavilion, a multi-story building of 350,000 square feet will be home to The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, The Donna A. Sanzari Women’s Hospital, and The Mark Messier Skyway for Tomorrows Children. Amenities of the pavilion include two magnificent, multi-story atrium lobbies; 192 spacious private patient rooms; and state-of-the-art dining facilities offering custom-order room service throughout the entire pavilion.
The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital will consolidate all of the inpatient children’s services, including general pediatric care, pediatric surgery, pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplantation, the pediatric special care unit, the neonatal intensive care unit, the epilepsy monitoring unit, and pediatric emergency care. The Mark Messier Skyway connects the new pavilion to the DON IMUS-WFAN Ambulatory Pediatric Center for Tomorrows Children.
The Donna A. Sanzari Women’s Hospital will house the maternal/fetal suite, labor and delivery rooms, mother/baby units, and a high-risk antepartum care unit. The Donna A. Sanzari Women’s Hospital includes 15 labor/delivery rooms as well as 50 mother/baby rooms. The new women’s hospital patient rooms are private and geared toward family-centered care.
